The visionary behind Emmanuel TV is Prophet T.B. Joshua, the General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, (SCOAN) Lagos, Nigeria. His life is an extraordinary example of total commitment and faith in God, the result being a powerful ministry characterized by extraordinary miracles, healing and deliverance. In every aspect, Prophet T.B. Joshua attributes his success to the grace of God, saying, “It is God’s strength that helps my weakness”. God’s mighty hand has been guiding, providing for and protecting him all the way long.
From its commencement, The SCOAN grew at a rapid pace as people from around the world started to visit and share the incredible testimonies of God’s grace and goodness with those around them. Videos of these miraculous occurrences began to circulate - but God had something much greater in mind. This was a plan of reaching the unreachable places with the ministry - The SCOAN would now come to the people, right in their living rooms. Guided by the Holy Spirit, Prophet T.B. Joshua knew the importance of getting the truth of God’s Word into people’s homes and hearts through the media. It was God’s time to start a television station. The name? Emmanuel TV.
This inspired name is one that births hope in the hearts of all those who receive it – hope that God Almighty is indeed with them (Matthew 1:23), no matter the situation they may be facing. Assuredly, this is the message that each programme and broadcast on Emmanuel TV boldly proclaims. There is hope for the weak. Jesus is the Hope.

As Prophet T.B. Joshua says, “If God is with you, who can be against you? If God is with a nation, who can be against her?” That He is with us is enough for us!
After much discussion and preparation, on March 8th 2006, Emmanuel TV began its exciting journey to change lives, change nations and change the world through the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The vision God gave to Prophet T.B Joshua which guided the channel into existence is the same vision that motivates and inspires all that he does. The vision is simple and clear - the salvation of souls in this generation without faith and hope (Luke 19:10). Presently, the services of The SCOAN are broadcast live across the world each week, resulting in more testimonies of God’s grace, goodness and power in the lives of our viewers. Emmanuel TV features numerous uplifting programmes designed to edify, enlighten and encourage all those who watch, as awareness of this powerful ministry continues to increase.
And what more can we say? We thank our Almighty Father that all the way long He has intervened in our affairs. We know that when He is involved, He is busy planning for our future and we are totally convinced that the best is still yet to come. God has promised that,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

“God is concerned about us, because He’s taking us to where we have never been, to see what we have never seen and to know what we have never known” - Prophet T.B. Joshua. |
